Heck, I'm hoping that Magpul will come out with a Key-mod direct attach AFG like BCM's new VFG. It's not that huge a deal as I only get a little bit of flex in it and it would only possibly break if I were to drop the rifle just right onto that piece, I doubt I could crush it by squeezing, but with the key-mod that will be eliminated. The Handstop Panel Kit includes 1 Handstop (MI-3KHS), 1 four slot panel (MI-4KP), and 1 five slot panel (MI-5KP). One other benefit of it will be that I will be able to properly attach my AFG to the rifle, currently, because of where the gas block is, I can't instal the bottom rail section in the right spot, I have to put it one slot rearward instead of bridging the gap between that slot and the one in front of it, thus the front half of my AFG is suspended in air. Made to accept KeyMod rail sections and accessories. It certainly does allow for a bit more versatility. Easy install, replaces factory plastic with no weapon alterations. but if you have a box full of keymod stuff do you just keep it or no? (you gotta have an M-lok rail to use this adapter). I think the manufacturers of this product might also be betting at least to some degree that M-lok eventually will be bigger than them all. It's just a matter of making wagers on who will win this thing. My rail is M-Lok and I will get what accessories I need for that using that system. once you buy into one system changing is expensive. This attachment might be for those people who say invested a bunch of money into keymod accessories but don't want to go out and re-buy stuff as M-Lok comes online.
